Delirium is Cirque du Soleil’s first ever arena show, where performance is based on a musical structure instead of an acrobatic structure. Incorporating 21 songs of Cirque du Soleil’s most memorable shows, the music has been remixed for Delirium and is as varied as Cirque du Soleil’s performances. Delirium is the story of Bill, a city-dweller lost in the virtual world of technology, who searches for an escape from solitude. In addition to Cirque du Soleil’s trademark acrobatic performances, Delirium is a multimedia masterpiece with over 540 square feet of projection space – more than four IMAX screens. Projected onto the screens are pre-recorded animated and live images, each one as compelling as a Cirque du Soleil live performance.

The set for Delirium includes a multipurpose drum that serves as both an acrobatic platform and a giant drum with 16 percussive instruments, four curve bridges, five swings for acrobatic dancers and an 80-foot volcanic dress.
