What would happen if your dreams and nightmares collided?
That is the story of Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba.
The title La Nouba is from the French “faire le
nouba,” which means to party and have fun. Cirque
du Soleil La Nouba tickets offer an entrance into the
realm where anything is possible.
La Nouba’s diverse cast of more than 70 artists
portray two different “families,” the Cirques
(circus people) and the Urbains (urbanites). When the
two worlds clash, one colorful and wild, the other mundane
and monochromatic, the result is mesmerizing. La Nouba
features Cirque du Soleil’s gravity-defying acrobatics,
high wire and flying trapeze, gorgeous sets and beautiful
choreography.
In true Cirque du Soleil fashion, La Nouba’s
set is a fantastic piece of art all on its own. In addition
to the first stagehand-free trapeze net that drops from
the ceiling, La Nouba’s set includes nine flying
doors, a New York window, two pedestal platforms, two
trampolines and four trapezes.
