Set in the summit of a Volcano, Cirque
du Soleil’s Varekai “pays tribute to the nomadic
soul.” When a lonely young man falls from the sky
into the magical forest that is Verekai, he begins an
extraordinary journey to all things possible. Cirque du
Soleil Verekai tickets allow you to be the young man’s
companion, as you witness his marvelous adventure among
the mysterious creatures of Verekai.
Verekai’s magnificent set is designed to fit
harmoniously with the costumes and music. The magical
forest is made up of over 300 “acrobatic trees,”
between 15 and 35 feet tall, which the artists climb
throughout the performance. The lush set also features
a 100-foot staircase.
The Emmy Award-winning documentary Cirque du Soleil
Fire Within was filmed during the creation of Verekai
and featured six artists from the show.
