Founded in 1993 by seven young circus art performers
from the Magdalen Islands, Cirque Eloize is an internationally
renowned circus troupe in the Quebec tradition. Almost
immediately, Cirque Eloize experienced a tremendous
success on the world stage, and has performed in 20
countries in the past ten years. Graduates of the L’Ecole
Nationale de Cirque de Montreal in Quebec, Canada, some
of the founding members of Cirque Eloize also appeared
in Cirque du Soleil shows.
Cirque Eloize’s Nomade is set in a nighttime
carnival, and explores the life of nomads and gypsies.
Artists from around the world dance, sing and perform
acrobatic feats on the Russian bar, bascule, trapeze,
straps and the banquine.
Cirque Eloize’s Rain is a story of longing and
homecoming, set in a theater during a circus show rehearsal.
Reality and theater collide until you cannot tell where
one ends and the other begins. Fun for the whole family,
Rain features juggling, tumbling, acrobatic and contortion
acts. Rain closes the show in a jaw-dropping downpour,
with the cast sliding across the stage in sheets of
rain.
Cirque Eloize tickets provide you with access to an
ethereal world where your imagination can take you absolutely
anywhere.
